Temperatures of 35 to 36 degrees and thermal comfort index over threshold, since Tuesday till Friday, warns ANM.

Meteorologists have warned that since Tuesday till Friday, the weather will be warm throughout the country, and in some areas there are temperatures of 35 to 36 degrees, and temperature-humidity index will easily exceed the threshold of 80 in plain areas and locally in the hill and plateau areas.

According to a report submitted by the National Meteorological Administration(ANM) , "in the range of 19-22 June, the weather will be warm throughout the country, local hot during afternoons , when they frequently record maximum temperatures of 35 to 36 degrees".

Temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach and exceed slightly the critical threshold of thermal discomfort in the plains areas and locally in the hill and plateau areas, meteorologists warned.

National Romanian Railways Company(CFR) announces through a press release, that over the next four days, the trains will run throughout the country with speed restrictions and this measure could cause delays in traffic of up to 40-60 minutes.

The measure is necessary because of temperatures that will exceed this amount of time limits and endanger the safety of railway traffic.

High temperatures are also announced in Hungary .

The National Meteorological Service has issued a notice today with orange code for the whole territory.

Highs will be ranged between 31 to 35 degrees.

Also according to the level of ultraviolet radiation, meteorologists say will be very high.

Also for Tuesday have been issued warnings with orange and even red code for several counties in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Hungary.
