Gărâna Jazz Festival 12-15 July

Gărâna Jazz Festival, at its 21th edition, takes place between July 12 and 15. Gărâna, a beautiful mountain village, hosts four days of concerts and musical experiences dedicated to jazz fans. Concerts will take place in Poiana Lupului, Catholic Church in Văliug village and “La Răscruce”” Inn, the place where the first edition of the festival took place, 22 years ago.

On stage: Youn Sun Nah & Ulf Wakenius, Stanley Clarke Band, Sly & Robbie meets Nils Petter Molvær feat. Evanind Aarset & Vladislav Delay, Roberto Fonseca Trio, Rymden (Wesseltoft, Öström, Berglund), Sebastian Studnitzky Quartet, Ekalavya (Abhijith PS Nair, Mohini Dey, Sandeep Mohan, Johnson, Roop) ), Pink Freud, Kekko Fornarelli Trio, Elena Mindru Finnection feat. Adam Baudy, Bandes Originales (Courtois, Erdmann, Fincker), Avishai Cohen's Big Vicious, Puby Jazz Connection, Adam Bałdych & Helge Lien Trio and Tore Brunborg, Stefano Battaglia Trio, Emil Bizha Quartet - Gipsy Blues, Exit Oz, Trigon, Benny Rietveld Ensemble, Horea Crişovan Acoustic Trip, Alex Calancea Band, Raul Kusak, Teodor Pop, Gheorghe Fikl.

In addition to the concerts, audience will be able to participate in the presentation of an experimental installation made by the painter Gheorghe Fikl, at the performance of the "Ferma" (“The Farm”) theater play, at the National Vinyl Fair, the jazz poster exhibition and the launch the book "Instant Stage" signed by Ioana Ţăut.

Tickets will also be available on spot at the access point in Poiana Lupului on Thursday starting at 16.00, with three options: one-day ticket for 85 lei; subscription for three days at the price of 240 lei and subscription for the whole period of the festival, at the price of 300 lei.
