The city of Sibiu enters the red scenario from midnight, after the threshold of three cases of COVID-19 per thousand inhabitants has been exceeded.
Carmen Vulcan tells us about the measures decided by the County Committee for Emergency Situations:
Reporter: Until November 6, at 24:00, all pre-university education units in Sibiu will function in scenario three, in which the courses will be held exclusively online. Wearing a mask becomes mandatory in all public spaces in Sibiu, both closed and open. Restaurants, cafes and bars can no longer serve customers inside. Cinemas and performance halls are closed, concerts and drive-in shows are prohibited. Similar restrictions were established today for three other towns in Sibiu County, which exceeded the rate of three cases per thousand inhabitants, namely: Vestem, Selimbar and Arpasu de Jos. Thus, the total number of localities in Sibiu where additional restrictions apply has reached 21.
