Nine of the former leadership of the Romanian Gendarmerie sent to trial.

National Anticorruption Directorate prosecutors sent to trial nine of the former leadership of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
Among these there is the former inspector general, Costica Silion, currently deputy director in the General Directorate Operational Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The former geandarmerie chief is accused of abuse of office, forgery, use of forgery and failure to refer to judicial authorities in connection with employment fraud competitions, RADIO ROMANIA reports.
