Former Head of DNA, L.C. Kovesi, Delegated to the Prosecutor's Office
Prosecutor has delegated former DNA Head to the Guidance and Control Service of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Supreme Court, as of today, 11 July 2018.

General Prosecutor Augustin Lazăr has delegated the former Head of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), Laura Codruţa Kovesi, to the Guidance and Control Service of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Supreme Court, as of today, 11 July 2018.
According to a communiqué from the Public Ministry, in the light of the professional experience acquired by Codruţa Kovesi, she will have attributions related to the implementation of the National Anticorruption Strategy for the period 2016-2020.
This morning, Prosecutors’ Section of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) had established that the former Head of the DNA would continue to work as a prosecutor at DIICOT Sibiu (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism), where she worked before being appointed in 2006 as the General Prosecutor of Romania.
