More than two million foreign tourists were accommodated in the first nine months of 2018 in hotels and hostels in Romania.

More than two million foreign tourists were accommodated in the first nine months of 2018 in hotels and hostels in Romania.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, foreign tourists who came to Romania spent here over five billion lei.
Foreign tourists came to Romania especially for business, congresses, conferences, courses, fairs and exhibitions.
They preferred bed and breakfast accommodation and almost half of them have booked their stay through travel agencies.
Most of the tourists came to Romania by plane.
