Firefighters managed "over 1.500 interventions in the last 24 hours"

Military firefighters have managed more than 1.500 interventions in various emergencies in the last 24 hours.
Most calls were first aid related, so over 1.200 people received emergency medical assistance from SMURD paramedics.
Rescuers also acted to put out more than 60 fires, but also succeded in another 200 interventions in support of communities.
The extrication crews were also asked to intervene in five accidents, and eight warning messages were sent through the Ro-Alert system regarding the incidence of cases of infection with the new coronavirus.
