Firefighter's Day

Firefighter's Day is celebrated today in all subunits of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in Romania.
The event marks 174 years since the armed confrontation in Dealul Spirii.
Those present will have the possibility to get into the intervention vehicles used in rescue missions, ISU representatives said.
A Firefighter's Day ceremony also took place at the Cotroceni Palace, at 4:00 p.m.; President Klaus Iohannis participated at this event and gave a speech on this occasion.
