Fines of over 1.1 million lei, in one day

Policemen and representatives of the other authorities with attributions in the field have applied, in 24 hours, 5.553 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 1.133.640 lei, within the actions for limiting the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
"Over 7.100 police officers, together with gendarmes, border guards, ISU staff, local police officers, representatives of ANSVSA, ANPC, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Transport and local public authorities, carried out 850 check-up actions of the way in which the sanitary protection measures are observed at national level", informs a press release of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police.
