Events marking the National Culture Day

These days events are taking place to mark the National Culture Day, celebrated tomorrow, January 15, the date of birth of the national poet of the Romanians, Mihai Eminescu, and several museums in Bucharest and in the country will have free access, some with extended hours.
The first and the last of Eminescu's photographs will be exhibited together for the first time, at the Cesianu-Racovita Palace, in the center of the Capital, which will be able to be seen between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Artmark Auction House announced.
Princeps editions and rare books will also be exhibited, including Mihai Eminescu's poems.
Last night, there was a poetry recital and the screening of a film about Mihai Eminescu and Ion Creanga, at Cinema Arta in Arad.
An exhibition of paintings by Romanian and Moldovan artists was opened at the Mihai Eminescu UNESCO Cultural Center.
