Romania's Cultural Institute in the German capital Berlin will host a theatrical performance while a painting exhibition of "Excelsior - Romanian Contemporary Painters".

The fourth edition of Romania's Culture Day already opened on Tuesday with an exhibition of potraits of the country's national bard Mihai Eminescu in the Round Hall of the National Museum of Romanian Literature in the capital Bucharest.

The event under the title "Eminescu - poetry, life, art" is also including an exhibition of manuscripts, engravings and lithographs offered by Ion C. Rogojanu, a well-knowm Romanian bibliophile.

Similar events on the occasion are organised in other European capitals.

Romania's Cultural Institute in the German capital Berlin will host a theatrical performance while a painting exhibition of "Excelsior - Romanian Contemporary Painters" opened in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

In Sweden, writers such as Gabriela Melinescu and Dana Dragomir will represent the Romanian culture in the capital Stockholm while Romanian actor Emil Boroghină is the star of a poetry recital known as "To the Star".

Similar events are reported in London with actor, director and screenplayer Constantin Chiriac and director Silviu Purcărete as guests, RADIO ROMANIA reported.
