European support for the production of hydrogen from renewable sources

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The European Commission has approved Romania's support scheme for hydrogen production worth 149 million euros.
This is an amount made available through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism to support the production of hydrogen from renewable sources, in accordance with the objectives of the European Union Hydrogen Strategy and the European Green Deal - informs a press release.
The scheme will support the construction of new facilities for the production of hydrogen from renewable sources, with the aim of achieving, by 31 December 2025, production capacities of at least 100 Megawatts in electrolysis facilities that will produce at least 10 thousand tons of hydrogen per year.
