Ella Chaimi - the wife of one of the hostages held by Hamas - met, yesterday, at the Parliament, with the members of the Senate Foreign Policy Committee. The ambassador of the state of Israel in Bucharest, Reuven Azar, also participated in the meeting.

In a press statement, Ella Chaimi specified that she described to the members of the Commission the days after October 7, when her husband was kidnapped by members of the Hamas group, and mentioned that she expects the Romanian politicians to not stop their efforts on who undertake them and obtain information so that the hostages return home.

Ella Chaimi: According to the Constitution, the Romanian Government will do everything in its power to support the Romanian citizens, my husband, but also other hostages held by the Hamas group in the Gaza Strip. It is very important for us to hear words of encouragement and with this message I will return home tomorrow evening.
