More than 190.000 elementary school graduates have registered for this year’s national evaluation that is scheduled to begin Monday, under video surveillance, with the Romanian language and literature test.

The grades obtained at this test are relevant to the highschool qualification process.

The national evaluation of school graduates will start with the written test for Romanian language and literature that is scheduled to take place Monday, the 25th of June, at 9:00am.

According to the Minister of Education, 190.291 pupils registered for Monday’s test, who will take the test in 4.516 school units.

The access of pupils in classes is forbidden 30 minutes after the beginning of the written tests, says the Ministry of Education.

The National Center of Evaluation and Examination has issued 10 test variants in accordance with the national and international modules of evaluation of elementary school.

The subjects have a medium level of difficulty and can be solved in 120 minutes.

The final evaluatory variant will be chosen early in the morning of the 25th of June, and it will be sent to the 1.387 communication centers and then to every school inspectorate.

Each class will feature surveillance cameras.

The national evaluation will continue Tuesday, the 26th of June, with the maternal language and literature test, and Wednesday, the 27th of June, with the mathematics test.

The results will be published on the 29th of June.

The first results will be published Friday, the 29th of June at 14:00pm at the latest.

On the same day, between 14:00pm and 18:00pm pupils can file petitions for contestations, which will be resolved on the 30th of June and the 1st of July.

The highschool admission grade will be calculated as the average between the evaluation grades and the average between the final grades obtained in every elementary school year.
