Electronic invoicing between companies will be introduced next month

Starting next month, electronic invoicing between companies will be introduced in Romania within a pilot program of the Ministry of Finance - announced the Prime Minister, Florin Citu.
In an internet post he wrote that it is the first stage of development of this computer system, which is to be generalized.
Thus, from September 2021, economic agents will use an electronic invoicing system to upload, store and download the invoices they issue in relation to public institutions - explained the Prime Minister.
He said that this improves the efficiency and predictability in spending public money, increases the revenues collected from the national budget, and with the introduction of the electronic invoicing system in the field of public procurement, Romania aligns with European standards in the field.
