During the cold season "schools will be able to operate"

During the cold period, the conditions for the functioning of the schools will be ensured - the Minister of Education, Sorin Cimpeanu, declared today.

He specified that the payment of price differences for any possible fluctuation in the cost of energy will be ensured by the government.

In a post on Facebook, the minister says that possible isolated initiatives taken at local level to reduce the temperature in educational institutions are not justified.

He announced that today, in Bucharest, he summoned the general school inspectors from all counties to communicate clear instructions regarding the conditions ensured in all schools in the country during the cold season.

Sorin Cimpeanu recalled that the draft law "Educated Romania" foresees a fourfold increase in the standard cost for material expenses that cover energy expenses.
