Drug traffickers from Bucharest caught with 4 kilograms of cannabis

Two drug traffickers from Bucharest were caught by DIICOT prosecutors and judicial police officers from SCCO Ilfov, while picking up a package containing 4 kilograms of cannabis from a courier company.
Subsequently, a third trafficker was caught, the final recipient of the package, from which another 500 grams of cannabis, a grinder, a precision electronic scale, 2 bongs and other substances and plant fragments were seized.
The three were detained on Wednesday for 24 hours, and two of them will be presented, on Thursday, to the Bucharest Tribunal with a proposal for house arrest, and for the third, pre-trial detention will be proposed for a period of 30 days.
Investigators say the drugs were to be sold to consumers in Bucharest.
The action benefited from the support of the police officers from the Criminal Investigation Service of Ilfov County Police Inspectorate, informs Agerpres.
