Prime Minister Victor Ponta said that he agreed with the president as next year's budget to be drawn up by the Government which will emerge in the December parliamentary elections.

With the law of public finances were also postponed the privatization drafts of loss- making state companies .

Prime Minister Victor Ponta said that the discussion with President Traian Basescu was one serious, institutional, much different from the previous ones.

"From my point of view, as Prime Minister, so until the election and after the election, I wish that the two institutions-the Government institution and the institution of the President-comply with these lines of institutional cooperation and to put every time in discussion and to public attention problems truly important for the daily life of the citizens of Romania," said the Prime Minister.

It was analyzed primarily, the government activity in the six months in office.

It was appreciated by common agreement that Romania had managed a crystallization economic and financial, coming out from a risky area into which it entered at the beginning of the year.

The most important reform is the one in the energy sector and has established a common vision of work in connection with the privatization of state companies.

It was also agreed on the measures which the Government will take them into the next period for payments on unlocking programs with European funding.

Regarding the EU budget for 2014-2020, the President and the Prime Minister will have a new consultation Chief Executive after attending the meeting Friends of Cohesion.

Then it will be taken a decision on the representation of Romania to the European Council Summit in Brussels.

In the context of the protests of farmers in Victoria Square, the Prime Minister said the principle requests are valid, but he reminded protesters that this area was the main beneficiary of budgetary adjustment.

"All I had extra budgetary resource was given to agriculture, and I think I did very well. The way we make in 2013, too: all we can give in addition, to give, "said the head of Government.

Victor Ponta said that agriculture is an important engine of economic growth, but may not make unsustainable promises.
