Discounts for the “Snow Trains” heading to mountain resorts

Romanian state-owned railways company CFR Călători introduces, from 1 January until 28 February 2018, the “Snow Trains”, and offers attractive tariff discounts for these trains having as arrival/departure or transit the mountain resorts in the Prahova Valley, Vatra Dornei, Petroșani (for Straja and Parâng resorts) and Piatra Neamţ.

Passengers will have 25% discounts from Monday to Thursday for travel on direct route, 2nd class, with InterRegio trains heading to Sinaia, Braşov, Vatra Dornei and Piatra Neamț.

Discounts between 31% and 56% will be applied daily for Class 2 trips with InterRegio on routes between Sinaia and Braşov (Prahova Valley) and return, by extending the offer "Weekend discounts on the Prahova Valley".

Discounted tickets can be purchased:

• Online on www.cfrcalatori.ro;

• From XsellKiosk vending machines at the railway stations;

• From ZebraPay vending machines;

• Directly from the ticket offices at the railway stations and CFR travel agencies.
