Italian Interior Minister, leader of the far-right Northern League, expressed wish to discuss with his colleagues in Romania and Bulgaria to implement measures for a transparent management of the public transport, for a system to stop the business of organized crime groups.
Matteo Salvini, who frequently contradicts Brussels officials, plans to run for the Presidency of the European Commission at the next Euro-parliamentary elections in May 2019.
