Decline in the Romanian car market

The Romanian car market is in a downward spiral by over 34% in the first 7 months of the year, compared to the same period in 2019 - shows the data of the Association of Car Manufacturers and Importers.
Depending on the type of fuel, petrol-based cars continue to have the highest share - respectively 65.6% of the total, down from last year's share of 69.5%.
Green cars, respectively electric and hybrid cars registered an increase of 3.6%, compared to the same period last year.
Most car purchases were made in the first 7 months of the year by legal entities - 58% of the total.
