Criteria for privatizing National Freight Railway Company

Several companies would be interested by the National Freight Railway Company “CFR Marfă" S.A.

At the latest discussions on the privatizing strategy of the company, there were mentioned possible investors from Poland, the Czech Republic, and companies from Romania.

The Government introduces phases of selection, in order to be sure that the company wining the tender had also enough funds for taking over the fright railway company.

The subscription fee will be, probably, 20,000 Euros, and the tender guarantee 10 million Euros.

The state expects to obtain at least 69 million Euros from this deal.
