Coronavirus outbreak at Slatina County Hospital "grows"

The outbreak at the County Emergency Hospital in Slatina is growing, after four nurses were tested positive with coronavirus. Two out of the four were from the plastic surgery department.

The four medical staff came into contact with infected patients, which led to everyone being tested the other day.

The management of the unit states that immediate protection measures have been taken. Thus, the activity from plastic surgery has been restricted and hospitalizations are made only through the Department of General Surgery or by transferring the patients to other hospitals.

A separate flow was established for patient access, and communication with neighboring facilities was blocked.
