Contracts signed at the Ministry of Economy

At the Ministry of Economy, four new financing contracts were signed yesterday through the aid scheme from the Program for increasing the competitiveness of industrial products. The beneficiary companies are those from the textile, pharmaceutical, automotive, electrical and electronic components industries. The scheme has a total budget of 30 million lei and aims to support companies whose main activity is the manufacturing industry.
Minister of Economy, Florin Spataru: Whether this money will go to laboratories that will help increase the quality of the products they will provide or whether we are talking about the implementation of a quality management system, the state aid schemes at the Ministry of Economy will be found in the real economy. In addition to international companies, such as Schaeffler, we have companies with Romanian capital, which need support and which, through these schemes, will succeed in developing a high competitive level at European standards.
Reporter: The Minister of Economy also said that, in the next period, there will be other financing contracts on the circular economy side.
