Code yellow alert for heavy snowfalls and blizzard in Romania

Romanian National Meteorological Administration has issued a Code Yellow alert for heavy snowfalls and blizzard in six counties in the east and northeast, as well as in the mountain areas.

Temperatures are expected to drop below 0 down to minus 10 degrees Celsius, all across the country.

There will be significant amounts of snow and blizzard in Suceava, Botoşani, Neamț, Iaşi, Bacău, Vaslui counties and in certain areas in Vrancea, Covasna, Buzău, Braşov, Prahova, Argeş, Dâmboviţa, Sibiu, Vâlcea, Gorj and Hunedoara counties.

Code is valid until Sunday evening.
