Campaign launched by the National Agency Against Human Trafficking

The "Road to Freedom" campaign, an initiative aimed at increasing the awareness of the vulnerable population about the most used recruitment methods used by human traffickers, especially the Loverboy method, was launched by the National Agency Against Human Trafficking.

Through this campaign, yesterday, on the World Day against this form of exploitation, the real experience of a victim of human trafficking and how she was finally able to rebuild her life was presented.

For his part, the Minister of the Interior, Catalin Predoiu, highlighted the importance of prevention and consistent joint efforts to stop this scourge that destroys destinies.

The minister also said that it is necessary for people to know their rights very well, to know that they do not have to endure degrading treatment or violence and to trust that they will be protected by the law.
