Bucharest Half Marathon gathers around 15 000 participants from over 50 countries.

Bucharest International Marathon, annual sports event aiming to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, this year at its 11th edition, started on Saturday 13 October with non-competitive races (Children Run and Fun Run) and continues on Sunday, 14 October, with competitive races (Team Relay, Half Marathon and Marathon).
Event - hosted by the City of Bucharest, Romania since 2008 – is organized by Bucharest Running Club, in cooperation with the Romanian Athletic Federation.
Time limit for the Half Marathon is 3 hours, while for the Marathon is 6 hours.
Bucharest Half Marathon gathers around 15 000 participants from over 50 countries. Start and finish line are in the same place, in front of the Parliament Palace - the biggest building in Europe and the second biggest in the world. All runners receive Adidas running T-shirts.
Traffic will be restricted on the area where the Marathon takes place, until 19:00.
