Romania is an essential ally and strategic partner of the United Kingdom, says the British ambassador in Bucharest, Andrew Noble.
He says that Romania's achievements in all fields are remarkable and thanks the country for helping Ukraine regain its full sovereignty and enjoy its complete territorial independence.
The diplomat points out that the strategic partnership in the field of defense, signed by London and Bucharest in 2009, defines an ever-expanding cooperation every year, not just military exercises and joint training.
Andrew Noble was present in the capital on Wednesday at an exhibition in the field of security and defense organized by the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Bucharest, where 35 British companies present their products and activity.
Britain is the second largest defense exporter in the world, after the United States.
