Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) is to exit the ruling coalition on Tuesday, August 27. ALDE ministers are to resign from Dăncilă government, ALDE leader Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu is to renounce his position as Senate President and his political party will vote for motion of censure announced by the National Liberal Party (PNL), political sources say.
On Monday, ALDE standing delegation voted to endorse Mircea Diaconu's candidacy in the presidential elections this November, as ALDE leader Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu announced.
