ABU Secretary General: Radio Romania always in the service of the public

Radio Romania has initiated a strong East-West dialogue through the Asia-Pacific Television Broadcasting Union, said Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Television Broadcasting Union (ABU), Dr.Javad Mottaghi, on the occasion of Radio Romania’s 90th celebration on November 1st.
Dr.Javad Mottaghi: Radio Romania has been and is in the service of the public, with information, education and addressing the needs of the public. We welcome several new partnerships to gain a better understanding between Eastern and Western audio-visual institutions. In this respect, we welcome the partnership with Radio Romania. I can say that the radio is growing stronger, because it can reach everywhere, everybody and on a lot of platforms, and it has been demonstrated that the role of radio is strengthened by the new technologies.
