A team of specialists from the Ministry of Defense left for the USA

A team of specialists from the Ministry of National Defense left yesterday for the United States to support the Alabama authorities in the actions to fight the new coronavirus.

Reporter: 15 Romanian specialists from the Ministry of National Defense left this morning for a humanitarian mission in Alabama. Present at the Military Base 90, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban stated that this approach is one in the spirit of solidarity, specifying at the same time that the relations between Romania and the United States are extremely strong and based on a solid partnership.

Ludovic Orban: A mission that has, on the one hand, the goal of being with the doctors in the United States, but also to see very clearly how the medical teams in the United States act in the fight against COVID-19.
Reporter: Adrian Zuckerman, the US ambassador to Bucharest, said that the strategic partnership between the two countries has never been stronger.
