A new way of online scheduling for submitting passport applications

On Monday, a new way of online scheduling for submitting passport applications becomes available, which will be integrated into the service portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which can be accessed at the address hub.mai.gov.ro.
Unlike the platform currently used, it will be allowed to make an appointment starting from the current day, for a period of 90 calendar days.
Citizens will be able to enter their identification data securely and will have new facilities, including email notification.
The service portal currently offers the possibility to obtain online the criminal record certificate and other notices issued by the ministry.
The hub is in continuous development, and soon it will also allow online obtaining of the history of traffic sanctions or registration in the contests organized by the ministry, including at subordinate educational institutions.
