"802 Romanian citizens" repatriated from Israel so far

802 Romanian citizens have been repatriated, so far, from Israel - the minister of foreign affairs, Luminita Odobescu, stated on Radio Romania News. She specified that there were 9 flights operated by Tarom and one provided by a private company and added that other flights are scheduled to bring other compatriots to the country.

Luminita Odobescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs: We still have many requests for repatriation. We are in dialogue with Romanian citizens, including through our colleagues who left Bucharest to support the work of colleagues from the Romanian Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Representation Office in Ramallah. We are also in direct contact with the Tarom company, the Ministry of Transport, with the Romanian Patriarchy for the management of groups of Romanian citizens and Romanian pilgrims, for the identification of solutions for temporary accommodation and, obviously, for repatriation.
