3.660 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

Following the tests performed at national level, 3.660 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) were registered today, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Between 06.12.2020 (10:00) - 07.12.2020 (10:00) there were 127 reported deaths (79 men and 48 women), of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Arad, Arges, Bacau, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Braila, Brasov, Buzau, Caras-Severin, Cluj, Constanta, Dambovita, Galati, Ialomita, Iasi, Maramures, Mehedinti, Neamt, Olt, Prahova, Salaj, Sibiu, Timis, Tulcea, Vaslui, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 20-29, 1 death in the age category 30-39, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49, 14 deaths in the age category 50- 59, 31 deaths in the age category 60-69, 42 deaths in the age category 70-79 and 33 deaths in the over 80 years old category.
118 of the registered deaths are of patients who presented comorbidities. For 6 deceased patients no comorbidities were registered, and for 3 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.
In health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12.762, 1.280 of them being in Intensive Care Units.
