26 March: Birthday of Princess Margareta

Custodian of the Romanian Crown, Princess Margareta, has celebrated today her 69th birthday anniversary.

Royal House has organized on Monday afternoon, at the Royal Palace in Bucharest, a ceremony that included awarding of orders and decorations to personalities and institutions from Romania and Republic of Moldova.

Stelian Tănase, National Bank of Romania, represented by Governor Mugur Isărescu, St. Sava's National College in Bucharest, and British Ambassador to Romania, Paul Brummell, are some of those who have been honored with decorations.

Orders and decorations were awarded for services to the Romanian culture and people, as well as for the promotion of ethical and democratic values.
