Romania celebrates, on 26 June, its National Flag Day, and military ceremonies are scheduled all across the country to mark this special day proclaimed by law in 1998.
National Flag Day is celebrated on 26 June, as on this day, in 1848, the revolutionary government of that time decreed that Tricolor (Red, Yellow, Blue) is the National Flag of all Romanians.
Bucharest hosted, on Wednesday morning, a ceremony in front of the National Military Club Palace, attended by Chief of Defense, General Nicolae Ciucă, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, members of Parliament, military attaches, war veterans, Bucharest City Hall and other public administration officials.
