20th anniversary of the U.S. – Romania Strategic Partnership

President Klaus Iohannis has posted a message on Twitter, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the U.S. – Romania Strategic Partnership.
The Head of State says that this moment decisively marked the evolution of Romania and that the deepening of the Partnership will continue, for the benefit of Romania.
The Strategic Partnership between the two states was launched on July 11, 1997, on the occasion of President Bill Clinton's visit to Bucharest.
Since its start, the Strategic Partnership has been an essential part of Romania's foreign policy as well as an effective instrument to support domestic efforts in the field of political, economic, military and administrative reform.
