2.419 new COVID-19 cases

2.419 new cases of COVID-19 were reported today in Romania, after performing over 16.500 tests.
Most new infections were registered in Bucharest: 477.
Authorities also announced another 52 deaths associated with the new coronavirus. Also, 968 patients are being admitted to Intensive Care Units.
Out of the total number of Romanians who became ill at the beginning of the epidemic, almost 90% recovered.
