19 counties have established the obligation to wear masks outdoors

Terraces, clubs, bars and casinos in Arges, Brasov, Constanta, Dambovita, Ilfov, Prahova, Galati and in Bucharest will be forced to close between 23:00 and 6:00 in the morning.

The measure applies for 14 days for all types of events that are organized in such spaces, according to a decision of the Emergency Situations Committee.

Authorities argued that after midnight the terraces become party places, and compliance with coronavirus protection rules in such conditions is very difficult.

At the same time, 19 counties have established the obligation to wear masks outdoors, at various time intervals, where crowds are formed.

Markets, workshops and fairs, the courtyards of the places of worship, the railway platforms and bus stations are targeted.
