1.639 new cases of COVID-19

1.639 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Romania, after more than 24.000 tests performed in the last 24 hours. This means a share of almost 6.8%.
Most new infections were registered in Bucharest - 281, followed by Galati county - 83.
41 deaths were also announced.
506 patients are admitted to Intensive Care Units.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 118.000 infections have been confirmed in Romania and 4.591 people have died.
