About 30 people came Friday morning before high school "Korosi Csoma Sandor" from Covasna to solidarity with the student wearing tricolor bent.

Covasna County prefect, Dumitru Marinescu, said that the approximately 30 people, adults and children, are part of popular dance band and choir from the village Zăbala.

They came dressed in popular costumes, wearing tricolor flags and sing folk songs.

According to the prefect, a team from the Ministry of Education, who came to investigate this case, is in discussions with school management, teachers and students.

The adolescence, ninth-grader, has started to wear tricolor ribbon on the head since March the 15th, when the Hungarians Day was celebrated around the world, and continued to wear in the coming days.

After her picture was posted on Facebook she was threatened with death and police started investigations in this case.

Solidarity actions were announced on Friday also elsewhere in the country, including Arad, Cluj, Alba Iulia, Targu Mures, Ploiesti and Bucharest.

Dozens of students from the Lower Danube University of Galati expressed their solidarity with the student Sabina Elena from Covasna, in an action organized by Students League in Galati.

The event consisted of a march held on Royal Street, on the route between the university campus and the Prefecture.

Students held tricolor signs, boys on the arm and the girls wore ribbons.

A delegation of students went then at the Prefecture where they submitted an open letter in which young people express support for student Sabina Elena in Covasna and condemning discriminatory and unconstitutional actions that were practiced against this young girl.
