Romania has confirmed that starting January 1st 2020, it will deliver daily 4.1 million cubic meters of natural gas to Ukraine, said Head of strategy and business development at Ukraine’s gas transmission operator, Serhi Makogon.

"I’ve recently had a meeting in Brussels, under the aegis of the European Commission, during which I received the final confirmation from Romania that, as of January 1, 2020, Romanians are ready to ensure gas supply through the trans-Balkan pipeline towards the Romanian-Ukrainian border. We are talking 4.1 million cubic meters a day, which is about 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas a year", Makogon explained at an energy forum in Kiev.
