Romania donates 1.100.000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine produced by AstraZeneca to countries in Africa and Asia.
At the request of the Ministry of Health, the Government approved today the granting of humanitarian aid to Pakistan, which consists of 500.000 doses of vaccine; 200.000 doses will be sent to Bangladesh, Algeria and Libya.
Romania has received a total of 3.400.000 doses of this serum and has used about a quarter, but in recent months has given up the administration of this vaccine due to low demand.
