COVID-19 epidemic - a slight reduction in the spread

Articol de Radiojurnal, 30 Noiembrie 2020, 05:46

The COVID-19 epidemic has slightly reduced its spread in Romania. In the last seven days there were 5.473 fewer cases than in the previous week, the decrease being 9.3%.

Another good news is that the number of people recovering is increasing. Yesterday, more than 13.000 people have been reported cured of COVID-19, a record for 24 hours. Also, since the beginning of the epidemic, almost 74% of those infected have recovered.

At national level, 16.225 tests were performed since the last report, and over 34% of them had a positive result, ie 5.554.

The number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 and hospitalized is still high, over 13.000; as well as that of critically ill patients in Intensive Care Units, yesterday 1.250.

148 deaths were also reported.
